Primary role as Project Managing Systems Engineer for the Financial Trading Industry. Responsible for the
management, installation and system operations of a large scale carrier class data center roll out with continued
operations that hosted 250 Dell M1000E blade servers for the clients and HP 3Par 7200 storage solutions for
our Enterprise trading brokers and clients. This VMWare hosted network consisted of a GIGE metro and long
haul fiber connectivity solution. Our GiGE metro fiber network originated in our datacenter in FT. Worth,
Texas on Cisco GSR 12000’s connecting by dark fiber purchased to our second datacenter in Dallas, Texas
and then interconnecting long haul on Level 3’s backbone to our third datacenter in Atlanta, Georgia and on to
our fourth and main datacenter in the financial district of New York, NY. My Project and Systems
Management consisted of the concept, design, installation and rollout of 4 Carrier class datacenters to support
our Enterprise Brokers and clients around the globe while still meeting 99.999% uptime and SLA’s.
· Project managed by Earned Value Methodologies using MS Project and ABT Workbench, the design,
architecture, engineering, and operations of four
(4) Carrier Class data centers, provided hands-on
management of network operations and systems development and implementation.
